Dr. Shay Caramiello earned her doctorate in psychology (Psy.D.) from the Florida School of Professional Psychology (Tampa, FL). She completed a clinical psychology internship at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (Tampa, FL).

During her graduate training, she specialized in neuropsychology and continued her training by completing one year of postdoctoral training in neuropsychology at Clinical Psychology Associates of North Central Florida in Gainesville, FL and a second year of postdoctoral training at Bay Area Neuropsychology in Tampa, FL.

Dr. Shay has worked with a variety of presenting concerns, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. She has a wide range of knowledge surrounding neurologically involved populations, as well as LGBTQ+ patients. Dr. Shay has presented at multiple local, state, and national conferences, including the American Psychological Association (APA) Conventions, the Florida Psychological Association convention, and the Florida School of Professional Psychology’s Annual Diversity Conference.
